Who can attend: Everyone! BMac is an open group for local Macintosh enthusiasts - whether you've been a user since the days of the ][, or are only just contemplating switching - we want you here. BMac is a totally volunteer-driven organization, which means that there are no fees or dues for our meetings and services.
How to get here: MIT Building E51 is located on MIT campus, at the corner of Amherst and Wadsworth, a short walk from Kendall Square.
From the T: It is about a 10 minute walk from the Kendall Red Line stop. (Tokens are not available after 6 PM at this stop so plan accordingly.)
From north of Boston: Come into Boston via 93 and follow the signs for Cambridge / Copeland Circle. Off the exit, follow signs leading you to Memorial Drive. You come onto the map (right) about 3/4 of a mile after turning onto Memorial drive, Wadsworth St. comes up quick so stay sharp. (You will see the connecting bridge between Bldg. E51 and E52 over Wadsworth. If you miss the turn it's possible to circle back on Ames and Amherst St.)
From south of Boston: Follow 93 in to the Mass Pike/ Rt. 90 exit for Downtown/Chinatown. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Turn left onto Kneeland St. Kneeland then becomes Stuart St. and then finally Eliot St. At Park square, cross to the right and get on Charles St. Follow for about a mile. You will then come to Cambridge St. in a very congested intersection, look for signs leading to Cambridge or the Longfellow Bridge. Take the Longfellow Bridge across the Charles River exiting right at the end of the bridge onto Memorial Drive. Follow directions from here as if you were coming in from the North.
